Washing machine dashboard riveting machine

The machine is designed to hot-rivet the pins of the trim plate for assembly to the decorative handle of a washing machine control panel. Riveting is achieved by the combined action of thermocouple-controlled heating elements, each controlled by a PLC, and pneumatic actuators.

The machine consists of the following main parts:

• aluminum profile frame with height-adjustable feet

• protective structure made of aluminum profiles and transparent polycarbonate panels

• side access doors made of aluminum profiles and transparent polycarbonate

• rotating table for rotating the fixture holder disc

• portal structure

• handles for aesthetic purposes equipped with special centering devices on the perimeter;

• heating system consisting of copper-beryllium tips, cartridge heaters with integrated iron-constantan thermocouple with guided movement

• pneumatically operated plate presser/presser acting on the handle;

• satellite push-button panels for cycle start control with safety barrier
