Car tweeter hot riveting machine

The machine has the function of ensuring the union by hot riveting of the components of the right and left speakers of various models.

The riveting is obtained by the combined action of resistances with thermocouples each controlled by PLC and by pneumatic actuators.

The machine is essentially made up of two separate work units for the riveting of a pair of identical speakers and each has the following main characteristics:

• portal structure;

• basket support equipped with special centering on the perimeter;

• heating system consisting of copper-beryllium tips, cartridge resistors with integrated iron-constantan thermocouple with guided movement;

• pneumatically operated sheet holder/presser acting on the bracket;

• sensors to verify the presence of the bracket mounted on the basket

• reading of the datamatrix code of the bracket

• danger zone guard integral with the sheet holder;

• satellite button panels for cycle start control with safety barrier.
